| [WIN7] Win 7 - Can't run any programs except for IE Have a WIn 7 (home edition) 64 bit here that is acting very odd. double clicking on any desktop icon (or in start menu) just brings up an hour glass for a second or two then nothing.
Oddly the only program that will run is Internet Explorer and I can get on the web just fine. Just can't run any of the installed software.
anyone see something like this before? |

Dundee, IL | First, go to program files and try to open the .exe of the programs you want to use. I could just be shortcut issues. |

Yes, the only time I've seen that is when the file extension for shortcuts gets associated to the wrong thing. It seems like everything is broken but it's a simple fix.
