| Any other ISPs offering 25/7 Does anyone know if there are any other ISPs that are offering these speeds? I've looked around and can only find BHell (with their 'low rate'and 100 gig cap) Primus seems stuck at 6 meg, so does Acanac and a few others.
Anyone know any DSL providers (not cable since I'm Cogeco here) offering this service? |

1 edit | I would assume they are watching these threads pretty carefully. Do they do POTS as well?
That's velcom.ca velcom.com is a hosting company. I was very confused on their website.
They offer a slightly lower price than TS and 400 gig, but no unmetered time. |

|
 | No, the modem rental is part of the tariff |
|
 | reply to malocite I'm considering switching to ColbaNet or SecureNet 25/7 service, namely due to the 8$/month Teksavvy modem rental fiasco. They seem to be the only provider charging for this. |

| reply to malocite You are right Andy, they all charge the fee. Thats not why I'm mad. I'm mad because TS isn't charging it to the customers that signed up prior to Feb 2 - and I would have been one of those people had I been told not to and had been given the proper information. |

Sanek join:2006-08-10 Kanata, ON | reply to malocite Velcom base price is lower than TSI, but they charge more for modem rental, which ends up being about the same as TSI, although Velcom's 25/7 plan comes with 400GB of monthly usage vs TSI's 300GB.
If TSI or Velcom allow customers to purchase those modems instead of renting them, I think that might make all the difference in the world. |
