[Network] Poor DSL Speed Plus Windstream Support Dropped Call
I've had poor performance running around 1.2 mb and paying for 6 mb. Called Lexington, KY Windstream support went through the automated call process, disconnect reconnect modem, log in and log off PPP. No change in fact got worse. Then Support tech disconnected the call. Wow that was BAD SERVICE.

I called back and reached a more cooperative Service Rep. Will place service call to tech. Still getting under 2 mb last was 1.7 mb. Also swapped out filter (no real change with no filter on line)and I found a spare filter and put it on, speed barely changed.
Thank you for this post. I am having nothing but problems with Insight in Lexington as well. Have been considering switching to Windstream, but from all the Lexington Windstream reviews I'm reading, it seems like I'd be going from bad to worse. I really wish we could get some class-action lawsuits going around here or something. Being charged full price for a fraction of service is outrageous.
