Charlotte, NC | [TWC] Roadrunner bad connection thru level3 Atlanta Is anyone else seeing high latency when going through the switches at level 3's hub in Atlanta. I am getting very high latency and very erratic and slow speeds on the speakeasy speed test in Atlanta. Speed test run to other sites that don't go through Atlanta are fine. |

Other than a slow Atlanta test do you have any other issues?

Charlotte, NC | All Internet sites that route thru Atlanta are slow. Downloading a 20mb file took 20 minutes because the route went thru that peering point. |

I realize this is a few week old thread, but I'd like to say that I have the exact issue with Atlanta based servers. I thought it was just me. |

That same test site on speakeasy for me gave me the below results
Last Result:
Download Speed: 1527 kbps (190.9 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 1974 kbps (246.8 KB/sec transfer rate)
But using the comcast test site on speedtest.net gave me the result below:
I would suggest trying speedtest.net rather than speakeasy, I almost never get accurate results on the speakeasy test site. I also want to note I am currently provisioned for 20/2 as DOCSIS 3 is not on yet. |
