| Service Changes FYI Just an FYI for anyone who is interested. The following announcements came in my latest bill:
On April 3, 2012, Disney Junior will replace SOAPnet on Digital Preferred channel 120.
Comcast has all the speed you need to do everything you want on the Internet - faster, including our Performance Starter tier, with speeds up to 6 Mbps, for $49.95 per month.
On February 29th, the "Preferred Collection" On Demand folder will no longer be available.
Beginning 2/27/12: Economy Plus Internet service will be available for new subscription at $39.95/mo. or $29.95/mo. with either video or voice services, and Economy XF Triple Play $84.85/mo. includes XFINITY TV Digital Economy, XFINITY Internet Economy Plus, and XFINITY Voice Local with More.
Beginning 4/1/12: The following new packages will be available: MultiLatino Plus XF Paquete Triple $84.85/mo. includes XFINITY TV MultiLatino Plus, XFINITY Internet Economy Plus and XFINITY Voice Local with More Voice; and MultiLatino Extra XF Paquete Triple $94.85 includes XFINITY TV MultiLatino Extra, XFINITY Internet Economy Plus and XFINITY Voice Local with More. | That is due to SOAPnet itself going away (lack of viewage).
A surprise - BBC America has been added to either Limited Basic or Digital Starter (it showed up on the DTAs this week) along with a trainload of other previously Digital-Classic-only channels - if you have DTAs, re-check your channels (especially between 100-199 - BBCA showed up at 114). |

 | I don't think its because of lack of viewership, I think it's because all the stations like ABC are getting rid of their soap opera programming, so there isn't anything for them to broadcast anymore. |

 | I think SoapNet was already on the chopping block even before ABC ditched two of their soaps. Not sure when it goes dark for everyone (cable or satellite) |
