Arris Modem..

Hello all,
I heard that there is a newer Arris Modem out. I have a SBV6220 by moto.. is this newer one any better? is this something i should upgrade to? I am a boost Plus sub/OV. I have not had any real major issues with te current modem - i like to have the latest n greatest is all.
Thanks

If you have no problems, there is no reason to upgrade. If you have all of the following:

1) You are having issues with speeds
2) You see one of your downstream frequencies is 627 MHz (log into your Motorola modem at 192.168.100.1 and check)
3) You don't live in Brooklyn/Bronx where your base frequency is 687, and not 603 MHz

You will benefit from having an Arris modem installed. If the answer to any of those questions is "no", then it will not make an ounce of difference (unless it's just a defective modem, of course).
