| If you have no problems, there is no reason to upgrade. If you have all of the following:
1) You are having issues with speeds
2) You see one of your downstream frequencies is 627 MHz (log into your Motorola modem at 192.168.100.1 and check)
3) You don't live in Brooklyn/Bronx where your base frequency is 687, and not 603 MHz
You will benefit from having an Arris modem installed. If the answer to any of those questions is "no", then it will not make an ounce of difference (unless it's just a defective modem, of course). |
