[FireFox] Firefox issues

When I have my browser open for an extended period of time, say a few hours, and have several tabs open, firefox starts acting crappy. Putting my cursor over a hyperlink and clicking nothing responds even though mouse works normally otherwise.

Also, going online to my back it seems the cookie resets every time because the computer is unrecognized.

Security software is Avira and Online Armor.

Depends.

Which version? What sites? Did you turn your AV off to see if it goes away? Does it happen in any other browser?

How do you actually use your browser ? This makes a world of difference.
