1 edit | Care Plan Questions Hi there, I wanted to update an old thread.
»Service Repair Help
Its now been 57 days since the Nexicore sub-contracted technician asked to take my PC with them for lack of test equipment, this was the owner of a somewhat local certified repair business. I was issued this Nexicore service through walmart. (I have been taking my time in building my own PC, and am just looking to resolve this issue first, being that its already paid for.)
So in hopes of some good suggestions from anyone who may have dealt with similar situations...a summary:
Sep-Nov 2011 I get post beeps, warranty issues in house MOBO replace. @Two months later same in house repair is issued...only they must take it with them to complete (12/9/2011) Tech returns first call @ 12/22/2011, call is missed): Three subsequent voice-mails, last one being roughly two-three weeks prior to this post are open with no response.
edit: I am not sure what I am asking here other than what would some of you do? I am almost done trying to call this guy. But the PC still has Fallout3 in the drive a video card and PSU that I would like back besides the PC. |

 | hey thanks, I was considering this type of tactic I just don't want to piss the guy off/make things worse. I can respect the fact that this four year old walmart HP isn't the center of the universe.
Is it possible they just ship the whole thing out to get serviced or would just order parts? Seems the tech does all electronics. Possibly my order is just sitting on a shelf all this time? |

Understood but this is your property. I don't care if its a $4000 computer or a $400 computer - it's yours and you deserve to know what is happening with your property.
Yep it's possible (and very likely) they shipped it to another location. The tech should be keeping in contact with you - the fact they are not is shady to me and should be cause for concern. I handle factory RMA's for a number of different companies - I deal with HP, Dell, Lenovo/IBM, Sony, etc frequently for warranty & RMA repairs. Whenever a system has a depot repair (shipped to the manufacturer for repair) my first call is to the customer to let them know exactly what is going on regardless of whether its a business customer that we service frequently or a first-time customer that may never do business with us again.
Whether you merely have a crappy tech or whether there is something more sinister going on remains to be seen |

 | reply to Qlone If Wal-Mart sold you the contract, deal directly with them and have them resolve whatever the problem is.
Go in and talk to the store manager if you need to. |
