| To be honest I have not actually seen the monument in daylight. I like to call the image "the midnight ride of the pink slip man." lol or "the pink slips are coming, the pink slips are coming!" 
EDIT: Oh, these two images were taken from the top of one of those double decker toruist thingys that circle D.C. It was pretty cool but I wish they would have stopped or slowed even more than what they did. Maybe I need to organize a photographers ride around D.C. one of these days.
