 | Wireless Router, repeater what do i need? I have a wireelss router built into my cable modem, that sits next to my computer. In my living room i have a sony blue ray player that has network capabilities but only wired network. Is there a device I can put into my living that I can use to connect to my wireless router and plug wired connections into? I do not want to run a wire all the way across my house if i can avoid it. thanks |

| A wireless router with client bridge mode is what you want. This will pick up the signal from the router and pass it on to the LAN ports, "bridging" the two network segments wirelessly.
Tom Hardware is a good reference on features (like bridge mode) as well as test results and customer reviews. |

So I am just about to jump into powerline networking and am seriously considering the ZyXEL PLA4205kit as a way to get started based on what I read on the Small Net Builder site.
