 | ESPN App on 360 Now Powered by Verizon I like catching up on all the soccer matches on the Xbox via the ESPN app, well it updated tonight, now it has "powered by Verizon" displayed in the upper right corner. I would also like to add the HD picture meter bar is now the lowest it's ever been, and the PQ sucks..Why? -- Smoke'm if ya got'em !!! |

| It has always said powered by Verizon, since that is the internet you are using to access the app on the 360. As far as the picture quality is concerned I couldn't tell you. I haven't touched the app in a while. -- Mets, Cowboys, Devils |

HBO GO, Showtime Anytime, Max Go, etc.) generally do that; they'll have a logo showing which ISP you are using. |

 | reply to TweakerInWA This is IMO, but I've never found the PQ on ESPN 3 to be very good. The problem is not Verizon, it's ESPN. Their service, for whatever reason, doesn't put out a good bit rate. Also keep in mind certain college sports are actually broadcast in SD, both on cable and on this service.
ESPN3 is supposed to cover IndyCar racing this year (qualifying, in car cams I think), so I'm hoping it's improved.
When I was watching a lot of World Cup replays in 2010, the PQ wasn't bad, but it wouldn't go more than a few minutes without stuttering and needing to buffer. |

 | reply to Greg2600 I agree with you also about the PQ on ESPN 3. I have fired up the live coverage of NHRA Drag Racing when they have had it on ESPN 3 and it also has stuttering and buffering issues. |

 | reply to nyrmetros said by nyrmetros:I thought indycar was exclusive to NBC Sports this year? No, 5 races including the Indy 500 will be on ABC. ESPN 3 will have qualifying and I think in car cameras for those races only. Not really sure what NBC Sports (Versus) will be offering.

But whatever that update was, they really messed something up. Hopefully it's fixed, couldn't watch anything Sat night due to the macroblocking. Everything looked underwated blurry... Out of all apps, the ESPN app is the best for us "Futbol" fans..... -- Smoke'm if ya got'em !!! |
