 | [CA] 92606 gradual drop in downstream speeds Hey Guys,
I've been wondering why my speeds were getting worse downloading from steam servers, turns it it wasn't steam but rather an issue with COX.
I have SB6120 bonding 3 channels, latest firmware 1.0.51.
SB6120 > Cisco E4200 > PC over Cat6. Usually I can get my rated speeds fine, but now I'm getting less than 40% of it....
Funny thing is my pings are fine, upload is also fine, just downstream is horrible.....

dvd536as Mr. Pink as they comePremium join:2001-04-27 Phoenix, AZ kudos:4 | Signal levels all look good. are speeds still bad *without* the router in the mix? |
|
 | It's still being extremely inconsistent.
I just tested and I'm only getting 22mbps, usually I get 30-50 with powerboost.
I don't believe it's my router at play here, but I'll test without router very shortly, I think it's time to call COX :/
Just tested again, i'm getting my original speeds. I was seriously debating on upgrading to Ultimate, but with these inconsistent speeds, I may pass for a bit. |
