I ordered some items online. USPS shows delivered today. I checked my reg mailbox and there was a key to open a larger box. I opened the box and no package but another key was in that box. Once you open the box the key stays placed. Tried to open the corresponding box, key fit but it would not open. I have ordered from this company and other companies before recently and my packages are usually in the first box. I am thinking the postal worker took my package. It was sent priority mail as usual. What should I do. I still have the key to the 2nd box.
Are these locked boxes at the Post Office? If so, talk to a worker there and see what they have to say. How big is this Post Office? It pays to be friends with those folks. -- You Can't Kill Rock 'n' Roll!

One of these I suspect. Similar units found in many residential neighborhoods. Postal worker places the package in the big bin if it doesn't fit in the small bin & places a key for the big bin in the small bin so the customer can get to the big bin.
OP: Never heard of that before. Call the postal service or stop in if you have a local office. They can find out what is up.
