DID redirected to Skype

We are trying to find a DID provider that can redirect DIDs to Skype "on the fly" with no "please wait, connecting" voice.

Any experiences to share?

PS: Yes, we know about Skypein.

You might take a look at DID Logic, »didlogic.com. Note that I have had some problems with their DIDs earlier (sending 2 call instances simultaneously), but the Skype forward might work OK.

I rarely use Skype, but awhile back, I ran some tests with »www.comfytel.com and using the free iNum redirection to Skype and it had good quality. It looks like they can supply a US DID for $2.99, but I found very little information about it and don't know if it includes any inbound minutes. The only way I could see a price was by logging in and navigated to the add DID page (attached). You might find a better rate for the DID from another provider and redirect it to a ComfyTel SIP URI or iNum.

I haven't used it, but Anveo DIDs can be routed to Skype, either unconditionally or as a function of caller ID, caller's input, time of day, and many other conditions.

»www.didww.com/ offers worldwide DIDs with forwarding to Skype functionality (among other options). You can check their prices. it should be cheaper than Skypein as I remember

Today there are many ways to achieve the Skype forwarding part over SIP for free. Search this forum for more info
