[WIN7] Odd SSD capacity usage?

Click for full size
I've noticed my SSD space seems a bit low, so I went in to clean it up via OverDisk and see that it's reporting a ton of redundancy in the My Music folder... When I right click on My Music and go to properties, it's only saying 1.38GB is taken up. As I go up the "ladder" in the image above, it keeps cycling between Documents/My Music with the space occupied decreasing each time. Which do I believe, OverDisk or what Windows is telling me?

Not familiar with that software. Could you try running WinDirStat? It will list you all of your folders and arrange them by most space used on your SSD and/or HDD.

Perhaps because a SSD is NOT a circular disk, therefore does not store data the same way a HDD does.
(TRIM, and Garbage Collection may be responsibe for a lot of why you're seeing this as well.)

Is the software aware of file system features such as junctions etc?

Any program that believes that a file can only be reached by one path is doomed to confusion.

A case in point is that 'My Music' simultaneously is and is not inside 'My Documents'.
