| [Speed] Odd cable modem config - LHV, PA A friend of mine is only getting 17mbps config on his modem, shouldn't it have been updated to the 25Mbps plan?

Allentown, PA | I was on the old 10Mbps plan. A while back the letter from RCN said I would be upgraded to 15Mbps. The new modem configuration is 17mbps down and 2.2mbps up. So it looks like your friend has been put on the 15Mbps plan.
Needless to say, I never/rarely reach those speeds, more like 13.8 and 1.75Mbps. |

kudos:1 | Lanis, Yea that modem is on the 15meg limit. I know they did the upgrades but there was criteria for who went where and stuff. If he received a letter it could probably contact customer service to get it squared away.
