| [Help Me] D-link DSL-2730U i have been using DSL-2730U router for 3 month
i have a problem
i couldn't find any solution
when i connect my mobile phone with it's wireless
i get really slow internet for browsing or downloading
i tried to use my mobile on another router (my friend's router ) with the same speed 512 k/b
it works fine!
plz help
my wireless security is wpa-personal auto

Try single mode G or mixed G and N?
What security mode are you using? Preferred security is WPA-Personal. WPA2/Auto TPIK and AES or TPIK only. |

Have you tried changing some of the WiFi options, I see some drop down menus however I can't see the options under them.
If you can set them to Single mode G on 2.4Ghz and single mode N on 5Ghz or turn off 5Ghz radio if you have this option and don't need the 5Ghz radio.
D-Link sometimes doesn't support FW updates on modems as this is handled by the ISP and not D-Link, even though it's D-Links product. FW is handled by ISP due to there network and support for service.
Maybe someone can review your router settings with you using teamviewer.com
Or I would recommend bridging this modem and use a external DIR series model router from DLink. They have some great routers. |
