Sonic pricing - business vs residential

Can someone offer a compelling reason to go with Sonic business pricing, instead of residential? I'm not seeing much difference in features, just price. Does the benefit come in support response? Just curious, as I'm ready to move from ATT DSL now that Fusion is available to my home office in Berkeley.

If it's a home office, opt for residential pricing - currently at least, business premises are restricted in that they cannot obtain service at the residential rate.

Thanks, yes, that's what I did, I could not determine any functional advantage offered by the business pricing. This is just a home office, a few phone calls a week, nothing like a frenetic pace here. I opted for bonded fusion, we'll see how well it goes...

The advantage is you're served by an SLA in case something wrong happens to the line. I believe Dane wrote how it differs in Sonic's forums or an interview. Residential service and performance is supported on a best-effort basis while business pricing would have a guarantee downtime percentage figure as well as a certain deviation from the transfer speed purchased.

Actually, business location and residential location Fusion are both best-effort repair SLAs, not an enterprise grade SLA. For a real service level agreement, you'd step up to FlexLink, our enterprise product.

I had the Fusion service installed last week (Residential, in Berkeley, about 5500 feet from CO on Bancroft). Bonded is not yet bonding (we're not seeing the additive effect of two lines, just getting the speed of the fastest line), but Sonic tech support has been very very good. I get updates, they're on the ball, and the line speed has improved. I expect they'll work out issues with ATT this week.
