[Cable] Wanting to insure and maximize performance.

Thanks for any and all help.

• There are no traditional tweaks for Vista and WIN7. They are auto tuning.

• You are not pingable, so the LQT cannot see your hop. I cannot tell if there is abnormal latency at your hop.

• Your speeds look OK. With Boost you show 8.566 mb/s. That is in the ballpark; it could be higher, but other tweaks are not going to do it.

• What are your signal levels as shown in your MODEM?

• Are you connected wired to the router or wireless?

I am full signal on the connection/modem via a wireless network in my home, using a Netgear Router. I have no problems with my speed, honestly. Just didnt know if any tweaks or boosts were available.

If you have no issues, then just press on.

Just for giggles, can you connect directly to the router/MODEM and run a some speed tests to see if the wireless is costing you some speed loss?
