GorkOu812ic join:2001-10-06 Bountiful, UT | As low as $19.95/yr? I keep seeing commercials on boob toob for MJ+ which say "Get for as little as $19.95/yr."
I'm confused. |

1 edit | That is what it comes out to if you buy the 5 year plan... The key words "AS LITTLE" which means that is what it COULD be, not what it is. Not unless you do something extra. In this case buy 5 years worth of their service at once.. -- Joe Sica |

GorkOu812ic join:2001-10-06 Bountiful, UT | Ahh, got it. The "as little" wasn't wasted on me, I just wasn't quick enough to figure it out. (du'oh!) Thanks.
There will be no purchasing a 5 year plan for me! |

 | I agree 1 year at a time, safer that way and over 5 years I think the savings comes out to about 50 cents a month. Not worth the risk for that amount... -- Joe Sica |

 | said by bitstopjoe: the savings comes out to about 50 cents a month That was under the old renewal options for the regular MJ, ($100 via $20/year vs a one-time $70 payment). With the new renewal options it's up to 83.3 cents a month ($150 vs $100).
Still not worth the risk of my tight money. They could decide to start blocking all the exchanges I call tomorrow. Plus there are too many options and changes in this market for my common sense to suddenly quit on me and tell me to give them $100. Especially when the GVJack App from PCPhoneSoft is right around the corner. |

 | Hell, what's 33.3 cents a month between friends. I had posted the .50 number in the other forum not too long ago, and figured if it got in your head because of me, I should post the update before some other knucklehead busted your chops on it. |
|
 | Nah I knew it had changed but I was to lazy to do the math on it as I was sure it was to small a difference to really matter. Not so much here but on the other forum doesnt take much for someone to bust my chops
So you are off the hook, plus I don't read your posts anyway!!!! HA I can bust them too ( I had to explain that because, well you know why ) |
|
 | said by bitstopjoe: I don't read your posts anyway WELL. I see how you are.
Actually I don't read my posts either, my staff takes care of these. They only let me know if one has gotten out of "control". So that means it's not really me responding to you responding to me not really responding to you. |

 | Because of this banter I went to YouTube and and relived Abbott and Costello and found it funnier than 3/4 of the so called comedy on TV today. I remember coming home from school and watching the Abbott and Costello show on TV. Mike the cop, Sidney Fields, Stinky, Hillary Brookes and of course Mr. Bacciagalupe.

 | I very much agree. The vaudeville style comedy was excellent.
The writing for this script was quite complex, yet came out so simply. And funny. |
|
 | I just found the 2 seasons of the Tv show on Hulu...

| Tried the link. Hulu blocks Canadian IP addresses.
I quite liked Laurel & Hardy as well, and also the shorts of the 3 Stooges (even though there were 6 of them), as well. Good slapstick comedy. The timing these folks had was remarkable.
However ...
Where was this thread again? Oh, yeah! Almost forgot!
I signed up for the 5 year plan part way through my first year. Exchange rate was good. With my use, I'm already saving significantly, so if MJ tanked tomorrow, it would be inconvenient, but not a major financial loss. |

 | reply to Gork I would not advise to go for a five year plan with any VoIP provider. The fact is five year is a long period of time. No one can assure if the company will be able to maintain its quality or not. Providers like Axvoice, Vonage, Ooma and others offer maximum of one year packages and only those people buy these packages who have sufficient knowledge of VoIP and its service providers. |
