Downstream power level?

My downstream power level is 10.6. Should I be concerned about this?

Are you having any problems with your service?

My guess is it is ok, downstream power level is not as important as upstream power level, if it is too high it could cause your modem to run hot and possibly overheat and would indicate a line problem.

So if you could elaborate on any issues you are having that would be helpful?

No issues at the present but I was reading the UV Realtime doc that states that the downstream power level should be relatively constant at approximately 13.5 to 14dB.

I am a new U-Verse customer & thanks.

That is going to vary by your distance from the VRAD and conditions of the line, but if your not having any problems and your upstream is within specs I would not worry.
