Endless threads problem was somehow mitigated with the new option "Max thread run-time, sec".
I found the new problems with the scanner not recognizing some opened ports. For example, OBi100 device on LAN has port 80 opened all the time, but NS doesn't show it. Netbook has port 445, but NS, for some weird reason, misses it too. The list goes on... I've tried earlier versions of NS and they show those ports properly. I'll tell that the author. -- Keep it simple, it'll become complex by itself... |

OZOPremium join:2003-01-17 kudos:2 | I keep direct mail conversation with author and the main problem (threads stuck in endless scan) was mitigated with the new option (mentioned in my first post) and by adding new button "Stop Scanning" into the dialog "Unable to perform the requested action while scanning". And I appreciate the author's efforts to fix the problem. The new problem with missing opened ports was discovered when I run the latest version of the program (v5.4.0). I hope that will be fixes soon as well -- Keep it simple, it'll become complex by itself... |
