 | [modem/router] Westell 7500 with 5 static IP setup options? Im trying to help someone out who has verizon dsl with 5 static ip addresses.
We are using a westell 7500 with 4 ports
Right now, we have the modem in bridge mode with one computer plugged in using the first static ip address of xxx.xx.xx.25
We plan on plugging in 3 more computers and assigning them .26 to .28
And then last ip address of .29 will be a wireless connection.
Is this possible with this modem?(using all 4 ports like this plus wireless)
Are there any other configurations possible? |

|
 | Its pppoe but its disabled because its in pure bridge mode |

 | No the modem is set to bridge mode and we have one computer plugged into port 1 with the first static ip set in the network card properties of that specific computer.
Im not sure I understand you, if the modem in pppoe then the modems dhcp server can issue one of the static ips to any computer that I plug into it?
AFAIK the modem cannot be in pppoe mode because the service is strictly static ip only |
