According to the article, they will remain separate. Probably the main advantage of the buyout is to give more power in getting better deals from the manufacturers. |

| I've dealt with empire more than a few times in the past. They actually did our new windows in our current house and some carpet at our old house in the city. Have always been happy with them.
Never did any business with Luna. Do they do just carpet or all kinds of stuff like empire? |

And they can churn leads to each other as well -- window and siding companies do it all the time, first guy goes in for the hard sell with the Cadillac pricing, and if he can't close the second company "cold calls" and offers the Chevy for a lower price. |
