 | Is this normal? (FIBE 25) Apple servers (~13Mbps) | Microsoft servers (~10Mbps) | Bell Canada servers (~17Mbps) | Speedtest.net is all over the place(from 9Mbps to 29Mbps) |

 | Last week, I posted in the direct forum because the very inconsistent service was frustrating me. "Bell Darryl" updated something in my profile but it did not help the line get stable.
Is this the best I can expect from VDSL2?
thanks. |

However, download speeds from 3rd party servers will vary, because of the serving speed and delays along the way before it gets to Bell's network. |

Before "bell Darryl" made a slight change to the profile, the Microsoft server download was twice what it is now.
My expectations were high as the DSLAM is inside our property (less that 100 feet from my computer). |

I always get consistent speed with my fibe 25.
BTW is this wireless or wired? Using Anti Virus? Your not using any other router? |

DSLAM is on proprety grounds but the fence was re-worked to allow access to the DSLAM without entering the premises.
-Wired connection -AVG anti-virus free edition 2012 (active) -No additional router -Nothing running in the background either. -Window XP SP3 running on an old P4 computer (3ghz single core). |

Alright, try to disable AGV... just for testing purpose. And if you could, test with another PC. |

OS X update, not a Linux distro This is what I normally expect to see for OS X updates, except on the first day when the servers are getting slammed.
