I have been an RCN customer for over 2.5 years and have always had fantastic (and consistent) speeds. That is, until now, unfortunately.
I am supposed to be getting ~15Meg down but usually am only able to get 2-3 Mbps. I have been in contact with RCN and they sent a tech who ended up replacing the modem which did fix the problem... for about 1 hour. I have run the speed tests both through the router and direct connected to the modem with no discernible change in speed. My encoded mac is : eb32c300d03717cc5722b5669dade4df21f5731e

Yea your on an interface that's a real heavy hitter we have /have had a plan to get some relief in there for a while but this specific one has some complications to it. I'm trying to see if we can do something in the interim to help out even more in the time being.
