[TWC] Connection dropping every 2 minutes

Hey everyone! I am hoping someone can assist me with an issue I am having. I have Road Roader High Speed internet with the Ubee Router/Modem. For weeks, every single day... during random times in the day... the internet will suddenly stop working. The router will reboot itself, work for a minute or two, then reboot, and etc etc. This can last for 30 minutes to hours. Here are the stats I am seeing...

I hope I included everything. I have tweaked with many things to ensure it's nothing settings wise, called tech support... everything. I honestly dont have a vast knowledge of routers/modems, so I am not sure what I should be looking for. Its going to be several days before I can get someone out here, but I would really like to try to figure this out as my wife absolutely NEEDS the internet for her online classes. Thank you so much in advance!

I had this same problem always when i first got internet. Tech could fix the problem it took 2 tech visit when i tech was test the connection to happen when he was in my house. He when to the building basement and sow that the line my house to the building cable splitter was old and damage. The tech replace the line and never had a disconnection or a rebooting problem. It was a year ago.

Ok, that was honestly what I was leaning towards ( they have some really jacked up wiring around our apt complex )

You have an upstream signal problem. It's too high to begin with.

If it's important, back it up... twice. Even 99.999% availability isn't enough sometimes.

I just read up on that about 3 minutes ago actually lol. The FAQ I saw didn't say what would cause it or how to fix it, it just showed normal ranges... could you provide insight?

Trust me the cable line need to be change and tech who change the line agreed with me. There are no device that you or Time Warner have that will diagnose on why you having this problem. It your time you will wasted my two cents.

Causes could be too many splitters in the home, bad or loose connectors, damaged cable, or misadjusted outside plant amplifiers... among other things.

Is the modem connected to the first 2-way splitter in your home?

Do you have a cable amplifier in your home?

Are all the cable connectors tight in your home?

There are plenty of tools that will tell the techs what is wrong, it's just a matter of finding the correct cause. Yes, in some cases changing the cable line and splitters will fix it, but not always. In some cases changing the cable or splitters are a waste of time.

We had 2 splitters... one that came straight from the wall that had a cable to the cable box and one to yet another splitter which ran to the modem and our daughter bedroom. I removed the 2nd splitter, therefore the cable from the first splitter now runs directly to the modem.

I checked of the cable connections, they are tight and secure.

We do not have an amplifier in our home.
