| windows 7 cant connect to westell 6100 My friend bought a windows 7 laptop the other day, and it works fine wirelessly when i tested it, but when I went to hook it up to the wired LAN from the Westell 6100 modem It could not load web pages. It said it was connected, and it could access google and search pages but no web pages themselves. very Similiar to this fellow:

I am trying to get a new router from verizon. But here is the catch, the Westell 6100 modem works fine on my other windows 7 laptop, and my friends laptop works fine on any other wired LAN network! |

kudos:21 | He should try updating the Wired NIC drivers on his laptop. That's bee a known solution for fixing this issue. |
