you should be able to get 1300g pretty easy

pay for one month, set it to manual, and buy chronoscrolls, then it's F2P

What is the proper way to resurrect when your group wipes in a dungeon?

My whole group wiped on a boss.

Can I use scroll of resurrection on myself?

Or do I have to accept default resurrection and run all the way from town back to dungeon?

FYI... a zerker one level lower than me, absolutely dominated me in PvP last night

his hits were literally taking away 33%+ of my life

most instances will allow you to reenter them after a wipe as long as it's within the 60-240min cool down period. check the specialty store in town and you will find scrolls that take you directly to the entrance of all the major instances. the few exceptions to this are ToT since it's a timed instance, so if you restart in town you may not be able to reenter. there is no shame in wiping - the game was designed with difficult and puzzling mechanics so often the parties that slog through it after 2-3 wipes are the most fun - as long as you all learn from your mistakes. the sad part is most of us experience instances with pugs from other servers, so one or two impatient players can spoil the fun involved with failing, trying again, and succeeding.

- so your whole team wipes (no one can use scroll of resurrection)

- you accept default resurrection

- you are back at town

- you use the specific dungeon teleport scroll

- you re-enter the dungeon

These dungeon teleport scrolls go from 50 silver, to 4 gold

very expensive actually

Vincerous can't troll Tera. It's controls are very different from WoW.

I am now playing Tera for free and it's great.

Upgraded my inspiron 530s as follows last night:

2gb ram to 4gb ram (3.25gb usable due to win xp 32 bit os)
- This had a huge impact! Immediately! More so than the graphics card change mentioned below

GeForce 9500 GT 512mb DDR2 to AMD Radeon HD 6670 1GB DDR5
- Nice improvement, but not as huge an improvement as the upgraded ram

what a difference these upgrades made for my intel core 2 duo 2.2GHz

what an excellent F2P game, I don't understand why more people aren't playing this

Been having trouble fighting Archers, and Magicians(not sure what they called)

they just kite the shit out of me and it's hard to lay a beatin on them

Yes, the questing does suck nuts, and is pretty boring. Inferior to GW2 questing... however...

BGs is coming out
Server Vs. Server PvP is coming out

when structured PvP drops, it will all be worth it, and free

I rejoined WoW this week, and the combat is so boring compared to Tera, found myself sitting in org... logging out, and coming back onto Tera

Rejoining WoW is like sleeping with an X GF... looks good, sounds good at the time... then as soon as you have done the deed you feel icky and disgusted... WTF did i Just do!

right now, if my powers of observation serve me correctly

Tera is utilizing about 2.2 GB of ram at run time out of my total 3.25GB of ram (total ram usage while tera running, is it all for tera...prolly not, but close)

my CPU is running at a constant 80 to 95% utilized

so it would seem, that my intel core duo 2.2GHz is still the bottle neck for the game

if i recall correctly, tera over utilizes CPU, and underutilizes GPU due to poor optimization

will the optimization ever change?
