Josh's stepfather Scott Murray said he broke his shoulder, leg, elbow and wrist. Murray also said Josh had surgery on his shoulder Monday and will need one more on his elbow.

It was a bad accident but could have turned out much worse.

He says he wire was never there before. Question is why wasn't he checking immediately before each performance for any hazards.

I have seen other stunts performed and I would say all the time they do that last minute check that nothing has changed. No ramps have moved, any obstacles or the same type of checks for different changes on other types of stunts. How it was setup even an hour ago may have changed.
