jtg0d join:2011-08-15 Mississauga, ON | [Cable] Occasional Cable Modem Disconnection issue Hi Guys, Has anyone encountered an issue I am having? Occasionally, I would lose inet for a few seconds. This happens several times per day 3-7 times that I notice. Most of the times I notice it I am playing World of Warcraft and suddenly I get disconnected. I am able to reconnect right away, though, but still, this presents an issue.
I remember I did discuss this issue with tech support, and it got as far as "Your modem resets/reboots itself". However, they asked me to perform some tasks or keep monitoring it and since I stopped playing WoW soon after, I abandoned resolving that issue.
My modem is: SB5101N surfboard cable modem
If anyone has any info on how to resolve this issue or how to troubleshoot this, please help me out. I don't even know how to login to my modem (I remember I did it once with the tech support guys).
Thank you! |

 | Modem is most likely rebooting due to T4 timeouts. Log on to the modem config website at check logs.
I have the exact same issue have Rogers scheduled to check lines this Week. |
