fhaberEnhanced For Lynx join:1999-11-23 New York, NY | [E-Mail] NYC Spam filters not current? I use my RCN POP account lots. Recently, I noticed an increase in spam from three a week to three a day. Now this is by no means crippling, but I thought it deserved comment here.
Previously, I'd never bothered with the "increased sensitivity" setting on spam filters. I turned it on, and got what seems like the same number of spams daily, just with the new "Possible spam" header prefix. Improvement? Don't think so.
Change your filter-list/algo/appliance provider? |

fhaberEnhanced For Lynx join:1999-11-23 New York, NY | This is getting ridiculous - thirteen spam-mails today, all nicely flagged "possible spam." Is no one else seeing this? Is this an RCN policy change, or did someone forget to update the filter list on one server?
Here's one header...

fhaberEnhanced For Lynx join:1999-11-23 New York, NY | I'm probably hexing myself by saying so, but over the past two days the spam volume has dropped back to what I'm used to: so near to nil that even I can't complain.
Knock wood, cross fingers, etc. |
