Re: [DSL] Changed from Unlimited to 300GB, charged $5 fee :(

Syntax, you were looking to upgrade? Once I see my new increased bill (expected to increase by 29%), I will probably be looking at a plan downgrade, strictly to save a few bucks per month. I will be looking at $25 speed change fees, and the new perpetual activation charge. Jumping to another supplier, with zero installation fees, is certainly an option that is on the table now. Getting away from the confusion that reigns around here can't hurt either. ... stepping down now ...

My bill isn't really going up because I previously had mlppp, which I cancelled when the throttling stopped and I got a nice speed increase. I'm not with TSI solely for financial reasons anyway.

What is putting me off is the erratic communication that emanates from TSI. How difficult is it to create a sticky thread with ALL the information in the first post, short of having a decent website? I don't have time to scour this forum for answers I should have access to on the website anyway.

I also find it odd that TSI doesn't have any incentives for long term users who wish to upgrade their connection speeds. If I've been a very satisfied customer for 3.5 years, chances I'll still be a customer 3 years from now. I'd be willing to commit to a contract for at least 12 months in return for an incentive.

why do we have to pay penalty when you make the changes to plans? like others say this is like bell and rogers garbage...
