Joey BWeePremium join:2001-02-16 Los Angeles, CA | [TWC] DCX 3400, Android App, without Whole House DVR in 90025 I'm Looking to determine if I was given correct information by the online chat representative yesterday evening.
My story started several weeks ago when I was told that in order to use the android/iphone apps I would need a cable box that supported the Mystro Navigator guide. This jived with what I was reading here: »www.timewarnercable.com/northeas···upported.
I upgraded my box but found it still running the older i-guide.
Chatting with a rep yesterday I was told that in order to use the Mystro guide, I'd have to upgrade to a "Whole House DVR" package for an additional $9 a month and a $50 install fee. I referenced the same article with them and was told that the box is indeed capable but I'd need to upgrade.
Is this correct? |

Is the service touted as a benefit to only whole home dvr customers or does it just so happen that only boxes available to those customers are capable at this time? Is there a chance it may become available with out the additional service requirement?
Thank you for the quick reply |
