Yep, my Giants. They also have to play 6 playoff teams from 2011.
Now guess what team has the weakest schedule in 2012?
Bloody Patriots....

It will be different given that some of the teams that they face next year will have a much different composure due to free agency, and some of them will likely not be as good.
Going into 2008, the Steelers had the toughest schedule in 25 years, based on the previous year's records of the teams that they were scheduled to play, including seven playoff teams from the previous year. Conversely, the Patriots, coming off of their 18-1 season, had the easiest schedule based on the previous year's records.
The Steelers won the Superbowl at the end of the 2008 season, and the Patriots did not even make the playoffs.
So don't stress too much over what the schedule looks like. -- Shine on you crazy diamond... |

Bloody Patriots.... Those schedules will not work out to be the toughest and easiest schedules next year. Teams' levels of play change greatly from year to year. The only way to know the real strength-of-schedule is at the end of the season just concluded. -- hey Dale |

| reply to bohratom The Giants have the toughest opponent schedule at 140-116 (they play the Packers and the 49ers where the Cowboys 'only' play the Bears and Seahawks). The Giants schedule looks tough, especially compared to other teams in the NFC East, but that's probably a good thing. A close race in the NFC East is exciting for fans, just like it was at the end of this season. -- "Every normal man must be tempted, at times, to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin to slit throats." - H.
