Re: föngo For the sake of discussion, does this not have the potential to become the ultimate VoIP/PSTN killer? This methodology appears to remove the need for softphones, computers, adapters, modems, telephone handsets, battery power sources, etc.
I'm not referring to the continuing need for some equipment for accessing the internet for other purposes ... but for simply making and receiving telephone calls, one just needs a latest technology cellphone with 3G/4G cellular or WiFi access for Föngo use ... hopefully pronounced PhoneGo so as not to be confused with "fongole" ... which is not what you're thinking. Check out the example shown in the following URL under the first definition shown for "chadrool".

Re: fongo Yah, FPL has just rebranded the service, and added a few more calling area's with more stuff coming in the future. I've been a happy FPL customer for a couple of years now. |

Re: fongo Historically, FPL's CS has been top notch. Now with this new Fongo/Dell Voice thing they may be getting a bit overwhelmed. I'm not sure they were expecting this kind of response to the service. It has exploded! The forum has gone from a couple of posts a day to a hundred a day. They are all newb posts asking the same questions over and over. And are you referring to the actual CS, or the forum support? The forum is a hit & miss thing, not official by any means. If you have a problem with something, I suggest calling the actual CS line. |
