Trojan/Scar.ajen is a rather nasty rootkit that's been around for at least a year. It's a busy little bug when deployed, not at all like the quiet and unassuming music2pc.exe.
Looks like a false positive.
Music2PC did provide an entertaining bug of some sort. It's one of the nicest crashes I've come across in a while.
Doesn't even shut down the app.
I would recommend reviewing the dumps carefully before bouncing them back to the developer. The collected info was just a bit too personal for my taste.
And - I really do like it. Very simple interface. Excellent search capability.
Reminds me a lot of the orig incarnation of Audio Galaxy.
I discovered that it's branding of each mp3 file is annoying.
I picked up a Bulk File Rename Utility to deal with it.

It's amazing because you simply type in a band, find the song you want, and it downloads right away.
