Yeah, I don't want to be rude. That's not the point of the forum, but looking at the results I can only believe that ICMP is being used. Otherwise some packets to the destination would drop.

The only time I've seen ping plotter behave as Les is showing is using ICMP, and it's normal behavior.

I'm not saying you don't have a problem, Les. I'm just saying my experience with ping plotter makes it appear you are using ICMP and that the packet loss you are graphic is normal in the way that it is appearing.

It's hard when you aren't in front of the machine doing the test.

ICMP test. I've been using Pingplotter since it's 1st release (1998?) and am well aware that ICMP packets are not prioritized the same as TCP and UDP and thought I made that clear earlier. What's the old adage about assuming? Someone who is "familiar" with the tool would respond as Cornat has, so in all likelihood I doubt your familiarity with the tool ravenchilde especially since you seemed to be so surprised that it was using TCP packets.
