| BT Headset wouldn't pair I just got a Pulsar 590E headset, BT 2.0, and I'm not able to get it to work with the adapters I have. I've got 2 BT adapters, one is 2.1, the other is either 2.0 or 2.1, but neither one would work with the headset. Since they connect just fine to each other, the BT adapters must be working.
Is there any trick I need to do? The headset is turned on, and I even tried pushing the buttons on it to no avail.

Then you can discover the device and pair it. -- When will the people realize that with DRM they aren't purchasing anything? |

quote: Turn on your devices Bluetooth feature.
Start with the headset powered off. Press and hold the call control button while powering the headset on. Once the light on the headset starts flashing an alternating red-blue, release the buttons and set the headset aside.
On your cell phone/device, go to the Bluetooth menu and search for (or add) a device. The cell phone should find the headset, which will appear as "590Plantronics" in your list of devices.
If prompted for a passkey, enter 0000 (four zeros). Note: Do not be alarmed if your phone does not prompt you for a passkey, because many phones do not.

| OK, so this was a case of not finding the support page....
I paired it to my PC, but I still can't use it from said PC. Specifically, I want to use it with Skype, but it's greyed out, and it's not even showing up among audio devices.
Any idea on what's happening?
PS: I also paired it with my cell phone, and it works just fine with that, so the headset appears to be fully functional. -- Wacky Races 2012! |
