[DSL] Trying to set up Windows Hoem Server 2011 web access

Hi,

Does anyone know if Teksavvy blocks inbound on port 443? I'm trying to set up web access for Windows Home Server 2011 and I'm not getting through. I've already set up port forwarding on the router.

Thanks

I am on DSL, running Acer Aspire Easystore H340 Home Server (Not version 2011), works ok on a Trendnet router.

I use port 443 for Remote Desktop, because most locations that I would like to use Remote Desktop from do block everything except port 80 and 443. So it's not blocked by Teksavvy.

Can you access the web interface within your private network?

There are no ports that are blocked from Teksavvy so you shouldn't need to worry about that.
Worst comes to worst you can map a different outbound port and set the inbound port to 443.

Thanks for the replies. Turns out I neglected to add another port (4125), everything works peachy now!
