[DSL] Good line condition, but high packets loss to gateway

My DSL internet connection is slow and unstable for a couple of days.

My modem is Speedtouch 546, it syncs at 6016 down and 800 up. SNRs are above 16db, no CRC errors. Line condition looks pretty good to me. However, when I ping the Teksavvy default gateway, packet loss ratio is 30 to 70%.

I tried to login with username test@test, and ping the 10.*.*.* gateway assigned to that test account, I also got high packet loss. So it is not Teksavvy server's problem.

I have tried replacing my Speedtouch modem with a new TP-Link modem, two different computers, and two phone jacks in different rooms. Still the same problem.

I have been using DSL service for 6 years without any phone line
problem. But it turned bad suddenly. I ask Bell to add call display/call waiting about a week ago, could it be relevant? Seem the only thing I can do is to ask a Bell technician to check my phone line. Is there anything else I can check?

Hello,

If you want to PM me or post in the direct forum the test@test IP I can see if you are part of a pattern match/master ticket that is open.

Thanks,
Paul
