Re: Sad News - RIP Donna B This news just devastating to me! Donna and I go way back, more than 10 years ago. She and I...just like "peas and carrots" as far as security issues went back then and not many women in that mindset. I was probably twice her age and we had so many bonds in common, so many chats, emails, contacts at various security forums. She cared about the PC security community and contributed so much even when security wasn't "cool". She cared about her famiy too and I offer my most sincere condolences to them. She was just taken too soon. A wonderful person and human being who touched so many people. She is an angel for us all.
R.I.P, Donna. I will miss you so much. I know your family will too. -- It takes a disaster to make a woman out of a female Microsoft MVP/Windows Security 2003-2009 Proud Member of ASAP (Alliance of Security Analysis Professionals) |

| reply to dp I didn't know her or have any real interaction with her, however, whenever a member of the DSLR family passes, it is always sad.

| reply to dp I only knew of her via the forum, hence not personally, but hope her family can accept my sincerest condolences. I can also feel their pain at her loss, as our family is going through the same thing, it wasn't a good start to the year here either, and 2 daughters lost a mother for it all and way too early.
We will light a candle for Donna when we light ours tonight for our beloved.

RIP Donna. Same .....but more than that. My impression was that she was held in very high esteem and that as a person as well was very much highly regarded. In all sincerity i had wished for recognition from her and consider her as a unsung hero of this industry. -- Paradigm Shift beta test pilot. "Now is the not right time to stop folding." |

 | I didn't think anyone else realized today would have been her birthday. I've been thinking about it for the last few days.
She is never far from my mind. And is (so very) sorely missed.
