 | reply to lordpuffer I installed this latest version 3 days ago. But I have noticed a spike in my CPU usage to 50% or there abouts every 30 minutes and my hard drive is racing like Nascar's #29. I checked Process Hacker, TaskInfo and Process Explorer and could find nothing pointing to the spike. Tonight I had nothing running, the HD starts racing and I see a notice above my system tray that something was checking my Hotmail account. The only thing I could think of is that as a secondary E-Mail account (should I forget my password) G-Mail had my Hotmail address for my 5 accounts. Any ideas? Has anyone noticed this spike as well? -- I've reached the age where happy hour is a nap.

There is a more recent version that you can upgrade to; v17.0.963.79. Maybe that will stop the spikes. I haven't seen them on my PC, which I assume that is what you are talking about. I haven't seen that on my Macs either. -- PR is back in town |

 | Thanks lordpuffer - will try the newer version. I have in the meantime, removed my secondary E-mail account details and so far no racing. |

 | lordpuffer - WeatherEye WAS the culprit. I uninstalled it and will try WeatherMate. I miss WeatherPulse. |
