[Connectivity] big gray eqpt box with meter

How close to a driveway can Suddenlink put their "APC" equiptment box (it has an elec. meter on it)? They installed one just inches from the driveway, instead on on the property line between houses, where all other boxes of this type are located. One slight miscalculation in pulling in or backing out will hit this box. We need to get them to move this box from it's dangerous location, but cannot seem to find someone to talk to. The house is in Paloma Creek South, Little Elm, TX.

pay to have someone come out and survey the property lines, to see how far over they are, then call the local code enforcement and let them sink their teeth into Sunndenlink for installing it w/o a permit and outside the easement if thats the case.

it wasn't placed at random. I can almost guarantee that it would only be placed on top of/with in inches of existing underground cable in the existing utility easement. Property lines don't matter. The deed to your house should show the existance of an easement but probably not the location. You'l have to seek out the official maps at city hall for that.

not arlo but they put one up a few years ago, on my property without permission.Takeing steps for them to remove it now.In Buckhannon and tired of this shit.Thinks cause utility put a pole on your property they have a right to do what they want.Little secret they still need permission from the homeowner.Expecially when passed the 10 feet from center of the road.

If it's really so close to the driveway that a "mishap" is likely to happen, then have a "mishap" with the box.

Rent the large size U-Haul and do it if you want it to be more believable.

They will soon see the err of their way.
