 | Networking Wireless Phone Connection to PS3 So I know this is going to be slightly out of the norm but I have been doing some research on being able to use my phone's internet connection through wifi for the PS3's wireless connection. Simply using a wifi sharing program on the phone does not work because the PS3 cannot connect to it. However I believe I have come up with a solution however I am not exactly sure how to implement it, which is where you guys come in. I have a wireless cable modem/router which supports WDS so I should be able to use it to receive the wireless signal from my phone and then connect the modem/router to the PS3 through a wired ethernet connection. Is this even possible? If so, how would I go about setting it up on the modem?
Here's the user guide for my router if that helps: »help.cableone.net/HSD/Modem/PDF/···uide.pdf
All help is appreciated. Thank you! |

 | I am going to need to root my phone and install a third party WIFI sharing app. My real question is I guess, could I use the router I have to receive the wifi signal from the phone and connect it wired to the PS3? |
