| [Niagara] Can't get Cogeco cause of TPIA Hi right now I am with Iktel Isp in the Falls and am tired of broken promises and crap speeds. So I order on the internet the ultimate 30 and added the phone they called while i was at work cause I work 8-5 mon-fri and gave me a number to call. I call tonight and they say they can't order it because I already have service through them. I explained I don't and the whole Iktel situation she gets her supervisor and they say they still can't sign me up, I have to call some 333-7060 number that was in the notes. I try all night and its just busy? Is it the owner of Iktel number or something i dunno. Also I don't understand if he is just ordering from you and paying you for my service why can't you guys give better rates then him? Makes no sense the middleman can charge less then big old cogeco? Anyways you were gonna have a new customer, now I don't know what to do and feel like by the phone call you don't really care if ya get me as one! |

@videotron.ca | I don't recall Cogeco stating that you can't have 2 cables at the same residence.
One, and only one, cable provider has this "rule" that was stated to the CRTC. Videotron.
Cogeco does not, nor does Rogers.
However Rogers have started telling people they can't, and as you have discovered, Cogeco as well.
Makes me wonder if you can file a complaint? You likely could if you wanted to. |

| I work all day I just wanna come home to the speeds I pay for and I have gave iktel long enough to get there stuff str8. If switching means going with out no internet in between, I will just go back the Bhell, makes no sense when all they gotta do is gimme a modem and change my account.... I will get my wife to file a complaint she is better at this kinda stuff, wished you didn't have to bitch and moan to get what you want now days.... |

kudos:1 | Anything Marcer does is out of the goodness of his own heart because he's a nice guy. He does it on his own time outside the duties of his job at Cogeco, and there is no SLA. You sent him the info, he'll respond when he can. Be patient. |
