Re: [BC] Shaw techs overloaded? OP here just following up incase anyone was interested. The telus tech called me right before the time range for the appointment and let me know about when he was going to arrive so that was really helpful. The guy was really knowledgeable, particularly when I specifically asked for a standalone modem rather than the gateway that Telus usually gives out. Luckily he had one of them in his vehicle, and after some initial teething the internet is pretty darn fast. I get 1MB/s+ on mediafire and I hit 2.6MB/s on a torrent earlier today so I'm pretty happy so far. |
