| How much woud you charge? I'm selling my Dell Precision m6500 laptop. It has 8 GB RAM, 500 GB hard drive, i7 processor at 8 cores, 1 GB nvidia video card. I Have no idea how much to charge for it. I Paid $5,100 for it and I bought it October 2010.
Any ideas as to how much I should ask for? |

| You can often gauge the value by looking on eBay and seeing what others are selling it for. "Buy it now" price is probably the least you should sell it for...
What's the dell system tag? That will have a specific printout of the specifications. |

Why you selling it? Wasn't aware of any 8-core i7 laptops, most I've seen is quad. On eBay they look to be between $1,399 and $2,700. (althought that more expensive on has no bids)

Hyperthreading, there are only 6 core i7's

One of the reasons it will vary as "Dell Precision m6500" isn't a specific sku, it's a series. |

Hyperthreading, there are only 6 core i7's Yes..so 8 core is incorrect, it woud be 4-core (8 virtual).
Still, he paid a good sum of money on something that is NOT an investment.

A Brand New M6600 loaded! at retail is 3600 bucks, so I'd be setting your sights in the 2k Range.
