 | [AZ] Random and frequent modem reboots I even bypassed my router and connected directly to my PC and it still happens, first one 20 minutes after doing so.
Just "chatted" with Cox support, sending out a tech. Asked about firmware update, none available. Asked about upgrading to a DOCSIS 3.0 modem, no answer other than my modem is still supported, so it should be fine.
I'm in North Central Phoenix 85023
Any help would be appreciated

| Well your modem is still supported, but there is a difference between that, and the modem working good with the newer D3 equipment cox uses. I would suggest PMing CoxTech1 your modems mac# and let him look over things from his end. |
|
 | I knew I was in the right place - thank you for that!
I was going to give it a little bit of time and see if he saw it before I PM'd him, I don't want to be a nuisance.
Thanks again! |

Thanks again! I am sure he will not mine, and he will need the modems mac# to look over things from his end. Which you should only share that with people who work at cox, and only threw PM's, so he is the only one that knows it. Anyways see what he says, but it might be that time to start looking into upgrading to a D3 modem. |
