Newburgh, IN | Logitech Revue with SA 8300HDC Receiver I was attempting to setup my cable to pass through my GoogleTV Logitech Revue; however, I cannot get the Revue to recognize the cable STB. Basically if the Revue cannot recognize the STB, you cannot use the keyboard to control the cable STB. I can get the cable signal to pass through the Revue as a generic video source, but this does not allow me to use the Revue keyboard to control the cable box. I was wondering if anyone has had any success with setting up the Logitech Revue with the SA 8300HDC STB? |

kudos:3 | The codes all come pre-programmed into the unit I believe. When I set mine up, it asked me the model number of my cable receiver and it automatically had the code programmed in. Does it not give an option for the Scientific Atlanta 8300? I was using the UltraTV boxes when I set mine up, so I haven't tested it with an 8300. |

No, it does not ask me for a model number of my cable receiver. I had had a Motorola cable box with my previous provider and it had asked me for model number. I may try to reset my Revue to factory default and see if I can get it to work. I have inquired at my local office about the Ultra TV boxes, but they told me that they would not be able to customers until about February 23. I did not inquire any further with them. Is there a way that I can get on a waiting list for Ultra TV? |

From the other Ultra thread, sounds like people are just calling in and the rep can add you to the waiting list. WOW_Dan mentioned there are already about 800 people on the waiting list, so it might be a bit before they get to you. |

Newburgh, IN | Yeah sgc, that's the table I saw from Logitech. I figured that it would work like the Motorola STB I previously was using with the Revue; however, the Revue was not "seeing" the SA 8300HDC. It would not ask me for the model number for some reason. That's why I am contemplating resetting my Revue to see if it resolves this issue. On the other hand if the Ultra TV boxes are rolling out soon I may wait for those. |
